Shannon McKanna is a paralegal at Campbell Huber, PLLC who supports attorneys in complex litigation matters, with a primary focus on medical malpractice defense. Over the course of her career, she has worked extensively in insurance defense, civil litigation, aviation law, and family law.Shannon began her paralegal career at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP as a floater, where she quickly developed a passion for litigation. She later joined Gwinn & Roby, assisting with multi-million-dollar trucking and medical malpractice cases. Following tort reform in Texas, she continued her litigation work at Godwin Ronquillo, PC, where she assisted on matters related to the Gulf Oil Spill litigation – an experience she considers one of the highlights of her career. Over the years, Shannon has also worked on matters involving subrogation, construction defense, and workers’ compensation insurance defense.
At Campbell Huber, Shannon primarily assists attorneys with medical malpractice matters and enjoys supporting medical professionals during one of the most challenging periods of their careers.
Shannon earned her Certified Paralegal credential in 1994.
Outside the office, Shannon enjoys anything related to rodeo, spending time in nature, photography, writing, and animal rescue. She shares her home with two rescued French bulldogs, Cricket – also known as “ChiChi Rodriguez”- and Lennon (or “Leonard” when she is in trouble). Shannon also enjoys traveling to the beach or the mountains and unwinding with a good true crime documentary.
Kenneth K. Heinlein is an associate attorney at Campbell Huber, PLLC, who brings a strategic, well-rounded perspective to every case he handles. He earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2024 after completing dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and international affairs at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Before joining Campbell Huber, Kenneth began his career at a personal injury firm, gaining firsthand insight into how injury cases are evaluated and litigated. He later transitioned to a national defense firm, where he handled a wide range of matters including products liability, construction disputes, wrongful death claims, breach of contract cases, and complex litigation. Early in his career, he gained extensive experience taking and defending depositions and engaging in substantial motion practice.
At Campbell Huber, Kenneth brings a disciplined, hands-on approach to litigation, with a particular strength in digging into the facts early and building cases that are defensible from day one. His experience on both sides of the docket allows him to anticipate pressure points and help clients make informed decisions as their cases move forward. He is known for being thorough, responsive, and steady when the stakes are high.
Outside the office, Kenneth enjoys slowing things down – cooking, gardening, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He and his wife are owned by two Siberian cats, Negan and Lucille, and his curiosity for the world has taken him to places near and far, shaping a thoughtful and measured perspective on life and the practice of law.
